Amber

Amber has long been associated with metaphysical properties, believed to enhance memory, mental agility, and decision-making. It's traditionally seen as a talisman for courage and self-confidence, even bringing good luck to warriors on the battlefield.  This fossilised resin, exuding a warm golden hue has been cherished for its healing properties and connection to the spirit realm.  The Greeks referred to amber as "elektron", meaning "formed by the sun".  It was believed to be solidified rays of the setting sun that fell in to the sea.  Ancient Greeks and Romans valued amber for its beauty and perceived magical properties.

Amber was a highly sought-after commodity in ancient trade routes, connecting regions across Europe and Asia.  The "Amber Road" was a network of trade routes that allowed the precious gem to reach far-flung corners of the world, reflecting its status as a prized possession.

When worn in jewellery, amber is thought to bring luck, shield from negative energies, and invite positive vibrations into one's life.  Known as the "soul of the tiger" in some cultures, amber is believed to embody the ancient energy of the earth and sun.  It is often associated with healing properties, offering a sense of comfort and well-being to those who wear it.  It is thought to soothe ailments such as joint pain, inflammation and respiratory issues.  Additionally, amber is said to help alleviate stress, anxiety and depression, bringing a sense of calm and tranquility to its wearer.
